You may remember from another one of my posts, that I am a very calm, collected in bed by 21:00 type of fellow.This story further solidifies that fact.
The night began as per normal, I grabbed a few hostel mates and headed to the night market. We found dinner and continued walking along. In the distance I spotted a pretty Israeli girl – it was the same one. We met up and all of us decided to go out for some drinks. Chiang Mai was a bit different compared to Bangkok in that there was not another street but rather a party square. There were several clubs around. It was full of expats and tourists.
I had been there many times, I mean er…. I had heard about it many times1. This night seemed a bit different, it started pretty tame with a few beers. Then we headed to another club somewhere I managed to run into my other Israeli friends. Now things started to get hectic. After the club, we headed to a Karaoke bar2. I did not sing – remember this I was not a confident man3. I decided to take a chance and kiss the Israeli girl. To my surprise, she reciprocated. So began, my obsession with Krav Maga baddies.
After my initial surprise56, I kissed her again. We took a walk around the city before ending up at my hostel. We just sat there kissing on a big couch on the outside. Nothing else happened7. Thereafter, I ended up walking her back to the club. We had a few more drinks before I headed back to bed. Overall, this was quite a tame night8 This was around 03:00 in the morning. I headed back to my hostel feeling like a king.
